I'm Kelly, owner and main photographer of Wild Whim. I'm a mother to two young boys (Luca and Kaden), and happily married to the most humble man I know (Micah). We live a simple life just north of Los Angeles, in Thousand Oaks, Ca. When not working, you can find us at the beach, camping/hiking all over California's High Sierra, or riding our bikes through town.

My work is a mix of candid photojournalism and fine art portraiture.  My aim, always, is to capture my subject matter in the most loving way possible. Sometimes that means I am a fly on the wall, capturing the magic of the moment before me. Other times it means it's up to me to make the magic more palpable. I think my talent hinges on the ability to do both, seamlessly, so that upon final delivery of a collection, you feel your love story has been told from all angles.
